My experience : Finally made the appointment to get my IUD out. Now what? :(
Ok so I’ve posted before. I got an IUD about 10 months ago. I bled/spotted the whole first 6 months. It finally stopped but the last 3 months or so I get a 7+ day period and then more spotting, so I’m bleeding about half my time. I really don’t want another baby but I also am not interested in getting my tubes tied (and my husband is very uninterested in getting snipped) so I have no idea what to do now. I spent many years on the pill before and it was fine but I’m worried it’s not effective enough. What do I do??? I thought if I suffered through the first 6 months it would be Worth it but it’s become clear this IUD isn’t for me and I suffered the last 10 months for nothing (and ruined half my underwear in the process). What other highly effective birth control are there???
