My experience : Got Skyla inserted yesterday
I switched from the combo pill to Skyla IUD because I have migraines with aura. I chose the IUD because I’m looking forward to hopefully going 3 years with no pills, no picking up packs at the pharmacy, etc. Let’s just say, it better be worth it. It was a painful process and I had no cervical dilator, I just took 4 ibuprofen beforehand. Taking ibuprofen and Tylenol on rotation made me feel comfortable throughout the day, I did have cramping. Today I woke up and although I’m cramping a little, I feel pretty good and hoping it stays that way. Just thought I would share my story! Hopefully I can update with good news as time goes on
