My experience : How effective is Nexplanon if inserted while still on Depo shot?

So I got my Nexplanon insert today, and the gynecologist said it would be immediately effective because I'm still on my depo shot. She didn't answer how effective it would be and she seemed kind of in a rush. I just want to know because while the depo shot is effective, it's not as effective as Nexplanon. I don't want that 4% chance to happen just because the gynecologist didn't answer my question, lol
