My experience : Is there something wrong with my IUD? Is this normal for others?

I got the Kyleena IUD in late December, I was bleeding for a few months and had some bad cramping but then it just went away and I stopped getting my period (in February and March)

I got it again about 9 days ago and it was pretty normal, but everytime I think it is slowing down and I have sex it starts bleeding a ton. I keep getting anxious because since it is the end of my period (or so i think every time) my boyfriend will cum inside of me and then more blood will come out. I cannot tell if it is mixing with it or if it is just me

For the record, I have never been able to feel the IUD strings myself but my boyfriend has said he felt something that he thought was the strings. I still have minimal cramping on day 9 but not too much.

today after sex i’ve had more bleeding and some more cramping too. it’s not severe but it’s more than it was.

Am I just bleeding longer because it is still new and I didn’t get a period for a while? or should I be concerned.
