My experience : Messed up my depo subq injection. FML.

I was giving myself my first injection of depo subq. Everything was going smoothly and I followed all the instructions to prepare. I stuck the needle in my skin but the plunger wouldn’t budge at all. I pushed as hard as I could but it was stuck so I removed the needle. When I removed it I pushed the plunger to see if it was stuck and about a quarter of the liquid shot out of the needle on to the floor. So now I’m left with an unusable amount of medication. I’m super disappointed because I’m switching from the combo pill which gives me awful migraines and mood swings, but now I have to continue them until my next prescription comes in in three months. Does anyone know if I could take my next injection to a pharmacy to have them inject it for me? I currently do not have a pcp so that’s not an option. And I don’t think I’ll be trying it again myself.
