My experience : Insurance and birth control?
So I recently got the Mirena IUD inserted, but after a lot of communication with my partner we have come to the agreement that we want to try to get pregnant. My concern however is that since it’s so recent that I got my IUD put in, I’m not sure if insurance will allow me to get the same IUD in after removal (I want to get Mirena put back in after we have a baby). I’ve tried researching it but haven’t found any information. Does anyone know if MediCal insurance would cover the cost of getting Mirena put back in even if I get it removed without a medical emergency?
