My experience : Paragard IUD
Has anyone used the paragard IUD for more than 10 years? It’s approved for 10 years of use in the US but studies have shown it can be used effectively for up to 15-20 years based on clinical data. I’m at 10 years with my paragard IUD in a few months and trying to decide if I should keep my current IUD or switch to another one (or other form of BC). If it’s safe, I’d prefer to stick with my current IUD for a couple more years but appreciate hearing anyone else’s experiences.
