My experience : Portia + Spironolactone
Hi! I have been prescribed Portia to help me with my awful PMS/menstrual symptoms. I have been on Spironolactone for years to help with acne and hair loss. I also use Minidoxil. My gyno said Portia wouldn’t help or hurt hair loss. I got a second opinion from my dermatologist who then said that Portia would help me in the hair loss treatment. When I Google I see that Portia may exacerbate hair loss because it is higher on the androgen index. I’m really confused! Has anyone had a similar experience?
