Started pills mid-cycle - bleeding around period time?

Hello, I started Brevinor, a combined oral contraceptive pill on cycle day 20 (my normal cycle is usually 29/30 days).

My real period was due around 3rd May but it didn’t come.

I did start a little bit of bleeding and spotting on the 5th of May - it is currently two days later and I have a light flow, like a period. I also have cramps, quite strong but less than I would if I had my natural period.

Is this normal? Will I still get a withdrawal bleed?

(Another Q which might be silly - is this the endometrial lining I had built up during the last natural cycle shedding? As in is this my period? not withdrawal bleed)

Also another thing, which may or may not be relevant is that last Friday I traveled from the UK to India, which was a temperature change of almost 25ish degrees.
