I quit my birth control (Junel) 4 months ago. But next weekend is my birthday and it looks like I'll be on my period. If I go back on my birth control now, will it stop my period?

I had been using Junel for 6 years, and decided earlier this year to take a break from it and see if I felt an improvement in my overall health. I did some ways, but I had to get used to having a period again. next weekend is my birthday and my parents are coming to visit me, which means we'll be all over the city walking around and I know that I'll be tired as fuck if im on my period.

If I start my BC again 11 days before my period, will it stop it? Or will I just get weird side effects?
