My experience over Obstetrics "Brown spotting 1 week after Pap - normal?"
Hello!
I got a pap done last Monday about 8 days ago and I started having brown spotting on day 6 into today day 8 after my pap. Is this normal? I’m just concerned because I am pregnant, but had US yesterday baby is fine… but why wouldn’t I bleed immediately after? I just think it’s weird the brown old blood showed up 6 days later into today. It’s very scant and not a lot at all…but this has never happened before in all my pap smears. Should I be worried? My OB did say that my cervix was tucked up high, she had to get two seperate speculums to see it… could this be why the old blood is taking a while to come out? Thanks!
