My experience : Cytotec for IUD
Hi everyone, hope this is OK to post.
I’m scheduled to get an IUD at the end of June. I’ve had some s*xual trauma so I have been putting off getting one because I didn’t think I’d be able to handle the pain/anxiety. My provider prescribed my Cytotec to take prior to the procedure and she also is giving me 2mg of Xanax to take beforehand.
Has anyone been given that Med before their IUD insertion? Any other advice you could give me? TIA!
