Hi I got the depo shot about 3 days ago(not on my period). I asked my doc about some stuff but she just gave me a packet and said it will answer all my questions… not really I’m still confused about some stuff:

My doc says its okay to have sex right away but from what ive read online I have to wait for atleast a week before unprotected sex(since i didnt get in on my period) What should I do?? Is it okay to do it or should I wait??

Also I have noticed my behavior has been erratic, I get mad at everyone and everything, did anyone experience this too??

I have also read that people spot/bleed for months when they first get their depo shot I have not spotted nor bled the past few days, I did have cramps after the first day tho, Is this normal?? Does this mean the shot is not working since im not bleeding??

Does anyone have any other birth control recommendations?
