My experience : Liletta IUD - Not Loving It
I originally had Mirena for ~5 years and feel like I did really well. I switched to Liletta in 2020 because it was “similar” and “cheaper.” Since then, I feel like crap.

It may be alllll in my head, but I feel like it has messed with my emotions and weight. I feel sensitive to everything, and I’ve gained 30lbs in the 2 years I’ve had it. Despite a legit calorie deficit, exercise, and an active job… somehow I’m gaining weight.
On the other hand, I got an IUD in the first place for debilitating periods. We’re talking bed-ridden for the first two days, prescribed narcotics, the whole shebang. I’ve never been properly diagnosed with anything, however I have had ovarian cysts big enough for surgical removal. 😣 I’m quite hesitant to remove something that has relieved my pain.
Going back to Mirena is an option, however I’m afraid my hormones are sooo out of whack that I’ll need a “hard reset” as I’ve been told by some people.
What do y’all think? What has been your experience?
