What is "Obstetrics " ?
Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.
My experience over Obstetrics "FINALLY getting rid of recurring BV thanks to Ureaplasma diagnosis!"
I have been struggling with recurring BV for two whole years. Nothing I was doing was fixing it. I would take the antibiotics, everything would be fine, then like clockwork the symptoms would come back. I was doing EVERYTHING I could in order to prevent it from coming back. Cotton underwear, boric acid suppositories, unscented shower supplies, vitamins, diet changes, specially formulated shaving mouse, all of it. I finally went to this subreddit to see if there was anything else I could try when I was recommended to get a test done for ureaplasma and mycoplasma, and my ureaplasma test came back positive. I'm on my way to pick up the doxycycline today and am PUMPED to hopefully have this long and stressful journey over with. So thank you to those who suggested it, because I probably wouldn't have had any idea to even get tested for it 😁
