What is "Obstetrics " ?
Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.
My experience over Obstetrics "IUD Insertion with Twilight anesthesia?????"
I am struggling to find a clinic or doctor's office that would offer IUD insertion with Twilight anesthesia. My wife has severe anxiety about the procedure and wants to be under some kind of Twilight or hardcore medication to get it done where she isn't nervous and doesn't remember the pain of getting it inserted. Has anyone gotten theirs in with Twilight anesthesia, and if so where did you have it done? Any tips? Thanks everyone!
