My experience : Birth control after gastric bypass

Tw:sa mention

I had a gastric bypass, and I was wondering what the best birth control was because I'm not suppose to get pregnant for 18 months afterwards. I don't want children. My boyfriend and I are long-distance, and he'll visit me in November for the first time. I was on a pill for 3/4 months before stopping it due to not having a partner for the time, and it's been about two years since then. I was wondering what would be the best birth control, simply put because I could die if I get pregnant in the next year and a half. I was planning on getting on some main form of birth control, using condoms, and the plan b in a trio. I was just wondering what the main birth control for me to be.

I didn't have sex with that partner, but I will hopefully in November with my new partner. I've used dildos and vibrators, but never an actual penis. I've got some trauma due to being sexually assaulted as a teenager, so I am skittish but I fully trust my new partner. Are there any tips you call could give me? Does it feel differently?
