My experience : HELP! Is this safe? combined pill

Hi,

I'm desperate to stop the heavy breakthrough bleeding I'm experiencing currently on a very low dose combined pill (1.5mg estrogen) because I have some family events coming up. I've heard that breakthrough bleeding is common on low dose pills, particularly if taking continuously like I am. I took my pill as normal this morning at 8:00am, but I was thinking of taking a standard dose Rigevidon pill tonight because the bleeding is just getting heavier and heavier. I would then take a Rigevidon pill at my normal time tomorrow morning, and continue taking this instead of my current pill. Would it be safe, or should I not take one tonight? Really frustrated by this breakthrough bleeding!

Thanks!
