My experience : I got the Mirena IUD 9 weeks ago and today I realized I missed my period this month. Is it normal for your period to stop 2 months after getting an IUD?
I got my IUD on Day 7 of my period in May and continued lightly bleeding for like another week. Then about two and a half weeks later had my next period roughly on time and now I’ve completely missed this month’s period by well over a week.
I know you can stop getting your period from a hormonal iud, but I thought that was around a year after taking it. Is two months normal?
