My experience : might get an iud next week (again)

hi everyone I used to have Mirena for 4 years and decided to take it out earlier this year because I thought bc was affecting me hormonal wise. I realized it wasn't.

I'm really scared to get an iud again I'm scheduled for one next week. my first time that I got it I was crying so much for half an hour that the dr got annoyed and said we don't have to do this and that we can stop but they were already halfway though the process I didn't want to just not do it. but the pain was the worst I ever felt in my life.

is there some way I can reduce the pain?? I took ibuprofen 800mg before on my last time getting iud but it didn't help at all...
