My experience : Unprotected Sex While Switching Birth Control. Plan B?
I was transitioning bc pills when my I had sex with my bf and he came inside me. Below are the details:
- Was taking Nexstellis and now on Lo Loestrine Fe
- I had finished my cycle on Nexstellis like my gyno had said. Then had the four days of no birth control (my "period") and on the 5th day I started Lo Loestrine.
- I had unprotected sex on day 7 of Lo Loestrine.
- I had accidentally delayed a dose at some point between day 1 and day 7, don't remember what day but somewhere in the middle. I was supposed to take it at night then remembered the next day and took the missed pill, then the scheduled pill for that day at night during my usual time.
How protected am I? Should I take a Plan B? In a few hours I'll have reached the 72 hour mark.
