What is "Obstetrics " ?
Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.
My experience over Obstetrics "Endometrial Hyperplasia miscarriage likelihood?"
So, a couple weeks ago I was diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia and a couple weeks from now I was supposed to get a more detailed ultrasound (I forget the name) to get a closer look. Today, after not trying to conceive at all, I found out I am pregnant. I'm about 7 weeks pregnant and the positive line is really dark. Gigantic whoops pregnancy. I'm wondering the likelihood of my EH causing a miscarriage since the lining is thick? I'm at peace with whatever happens so tell it to me straight, I can handle it =) Thank you!
