My experience : I’ve had my Mirena IUD for 6 years already
At first, my periods were extremely light or nonexistent. I went several months without really staining or anything l, which was great. Now that I’ve the IUD for 6 years, my periods have been more regular and I’m staining more than I have in years. I’m worried that it means my IUD is becoming less effective, mainly because it’s only been approved to be used over 5 years for a bit. Has anyone has this same experience? Am I worrying about nothing?
