My experience : Looking for a new birth control
Hi there! Just like the title says, I’m trying to find a better type of birth control. I was on the pill (progesterone and estrogen combination) for about two and a half years, and it had some negative side affects I didn’t like. I switched pills to another generic brand with a lower dosage but I was still experiencing the same effect so I stopped taking it; that and I was no longer sexually active. I know that the IUD is the most effective type but I don’t really want the pain or period complications that come with it, and hate needles so I would never think about the implant. Let me know about your experience, and if there’s other types they don’t talk about as much that are also effective!!
