My experience : Birth Control Advice
Sorry in advance for TMI in my post and if this is confusing.
I (F21) am new to birth control. I started lo loesterin less than a month ago as a way to prevent pregnancy and as a 2nd layer of protection for my partner and I. My periods before I started have always been regular and not too heavy. This past Friday my period started before I even took the "inactive pills". It is still technically on time to my cycle, but the timing and other factors have me concerned. Usually I'll only need 2-3 regular tampons or 2 pads for my heavy days. But saturday and we'll into Sunday I was going through super plus tampons every 3-4 hours with more clots than im used to. My flows have never been this heavy and I asked my doctor about this and was basically dismissed for my concerns. This probably isn't the best place to find answers but ya girl is worried. Any advice or comments on how to approach these changes and conversation with my doctor would be appreciated. I just don't have anywhere else to go for help on this topic.
