My experience : Birth Control Withdrawal Bleeding
As my title says, I'm on birth control and experiencing withdrawal bleeding according to my doctor.
I made a mistake of forgetting to take my oral birth control for 2 days and started bleeding (I was on an IUD for 3 years and immediately went on oral birth control with no issues so no real lapse of birth control except those two days). So this caused me to start my period and quite heavy, so I saw a doctor for this. I was told it was called a withdrawal bleed and to take 3 birth control pills a day for 3 days, and 2 birth control a day for 2 days and that should fix my issue. Well its been nearly a month of this.
Has this happened to anyone else? Im experiencing cramping, but no fevers or anything. I experience cramping nearly everyday so my pain tolerance is high. Its dull and I'd say its a 2/10 for pain. Idk what to do. My doctor said that would fix the issue but it hasnt.
