Hi all --

Wondering if anyone here has a) had the Mirena successfully eliminate their period and generally had a good experience with it, and then b) switched to Nexplanon. It seems impossible to tell what Nexplanon will do to different bodies, so I'm hoping to find some people who have had the same hormonal reaction to the Mirena as I did.

I'm curious about what Nexplanon did to your period!

The Mirena really successfully eliminated my period after about a year and in general felt like a good hormonal fit for me. I now need to find a new birth control that's not inserted in the uterus. I am really mostly looking to eliminate my period - birth control is honestly a perk. I'm combing through old posts as I write this, but wanted to ask myself as well. Thank you!
