My experience : Questions 2 months after copper IUD
So I’ve had the copper iud on July 21st and I got my cycle the day after insertion and lasted about a week and few days with regular steady flow. About 2 and half weeks later I started to bleed again but I didn’t feel any pms symptoms just the flow was there.
When I went to my month checkup my OB said everything was fine and dandy. She showed the pictures of the ultrasound and said I was good to go.
Thing is I haven’t stopped spotting since i had that week of random bleeding. I’ll have spotting then a day of bleeding, then the next morning it’s gone and at night I’ll start to bleed again. It’s so random that I just wear a pad 24/7 lol.
I’m concerned that the bleeding is something to be concerned about? It’s constant and won’t stop.
About 3 days ago I started to bleed more and more so I think it’s a period but there’s little to no clotting so it is really? I don’t even know any more at thing point. Just a constant flow thats about medium- kinda heavy every now and then.
I started to take 25mg of zinc every other day since I know the copper iud can make us estrogen heavy. Would it be okay to take that much zinc everyday?
Thank you in advance for any responses!
