My experience : Changing from Pregosterone only pill to copper IUD
Hi everyone, just wanted to hear some people's experiences changing to the copper IUD. I'm at my wits end with the pill. Since I went on the pill acne went out of control, my emotions are all over the place, I gained a tonne of weight and im finding it so hard to lose it. Just to note: I do CrossFit 4-5 times a week and I count calories macros etc. I'm very proactive about losing weight but it's just not budging. I feel like a completely different person and I have lost all confidence in myself.
I want to change to the copper IUD since it has no hormones. What are people's experiences (especially people who have had a similar experience with the pill) with the copper IUD?
I'm really desperate to come off the pill. Its lowered my libido, changed my emotions horribly, I can't control my hunger, I'm always bloated after every meal.. it's just horrible and I feel like I'm pumping shit into my body everytime I take that pill.
My BF and I have tried condoms but sex just isn't as pleasurable for either of us with condoms.
