My experience : I hate my IUD

I’ve had the Mirena IUD for about a year now and I kind of hate it! I think if I zoom out, it’s fine. I don’t have my period, I don’t feel crampy ever, I’ve not had any scares with it falling out or embedding, it’s working as it should. But damn, my skin is MESSED UP and it’s nearly enough to make me want to get off it and back on the pill. I had perfect skin on the pill!

Has anyone else with Mirena experienced acne as a side effect? Did it ever go away? I’ve read that by year 2 and 3, acne and other smaller side effects disappear but ugh, I’m not sure I’m willing to hold on for that long.

Help????
