My experience : I'm very scared of getting a mirena IUD, any advices?
I don't want kids and wanted a mirena iud because it seems like the safer option with less side effects than the copper iud, pills and other methods, but at the same time I'm having second thoughts about it because what if I become pregnant anyway? What if I experience awful side effects like acne, depression, anxiety, bleeding, shifts in my libido, weight gain ect.?
My period is very heavy and I'm also anemic so a mirena iud would help me; I've heard about lots of people praising it and commenting their experience with it, but at the same time I heard about people having the absolute worst experience with it so I'm a bit scared. What should I do? Please give me any advice because I really need it and I'm having a mental breakdown over it.
