My experience : Spotting on Kyleena
I got Kyleena about 4 months ago, and was told it would be one of the IUDs least likely to cause spotting/bleeding. Almost every day since then, I've had spotting of varying degrees. Is there any chance this will get better? I've been thinking about waiting until the 6 month mark to get it taken out, but I'm not sure if there's a point. I had this issue with Nexplanon as well; constant spotting. I also had spotting issues with the patch, although to a lesser extent. I'm not sure what to do at this point. I'd prefer not to take a daily pill, since it's easy to forget. Are some people's bodies just unable to handle the extra hormones? Would I be better off just sticking to condoms?
