My experience : Swapped from pills to a Xulane patch; have been bleeding for a month now. Is this normal?

I’m really hoping the bleeding will stop.

I tried doing the patch because I was becoming tired of the side effects of the pill I was currently on (Norethindrone).

I wanted to use a method that contained Estrogen instead of progesterone only. So the doctor gave me a three month supply of the patches to test out how I would like it. I’m trying to “thug” it out, but the constant bleeding as soon as I started the patch is quite annoying.

Does the break week help regulate things? Should I expect this to keep going (the bleeding) till three months?
