My experience : Birth control effects health?
I have been going on and off of the pill for a few years. The first time I got off the pill, I had an extreme stabbing pain in my lower stomach (one of the worst pains I’ve had) went to doctor and he told me I was fine (DIDNT do any tests though, just talked to me for a few minutes about my symptoms and checked my temperature and heart beat). After that I switched birth control brands (I was sure that was the cause of this specific problem) but stayed at the same dose. Last January I got off of it after being on it for less than a month. Immediately I noticed eye floaters and headaches and such. My vision in my right eye also got way worse. went to an eye doctor and got my new prescription and got some more advanced tests done just to see my eye health. Doctor said my eyes looked great and he didn’t see any cause for eye floaters. This time I’ve been on birth control for the longest time, started June to now. Noticed brain fog, more eye floaters, recently headaches, etc. but didn’t relate it to bc. Now I’m starting to think it’s a pattern and that the bc is causing all the symptoms. I looked it up and all of these can be caused by birth control pills. Is there anything else that could’ve caused these issues that anyone knows of?
