My experience : how long did the bleeding last for you? (xulane patch)

I started using the xulane patch recently. The first two weeks on the patch were fine, but I was spotting every single day on the third patch. I say "spotting", but to me it felt heavier than spotting, sort of like in between regular period bleeding and spotting, if that makes sense? Then it was my off patch week, and I got my regular period. Normally my period lasts 5 days, but I've been (period) bleeding for 6 days now.

Those of you who have experienced similar side effects, how long did your abnormal bleeding last on your first patch cycle(s)? Did it eventually get better, and if so, after how many months?
