I used to have a regular cycle (on or off the pill). 7 days of bleeding every 28-30 days. Then I decided to get an IUD and started spotting for a full 7 days before my 7 day period. Then I got on nuvaring - same thing. Then I got back on the pill - same thing. I stopped BC altogether and I have had the same thing for the past TWO YEARS. There has got to be something about the synthetic hormones that got my body into this cycle, right?? How can I stop bleeding for 2 weeks out of every month?
