My experience : Kyleena fell out after three months

For context, I’m f(23) and have never given birth, had pregnancy scares and always had normal flow of periods nothing too heavy or painful.

Hi all, this is my first time using hormonal birth control. I’ve always stuck to condoms or pull out method. But basically in July I got my kyleena IUD inserted, and the first time the doctor couldn’t insert it and referred me to a gyno and he inserted it super fast. I had a lot of spotting and cramping for a few weeks and then I got my first period and the cramping and spotting went away. I continued getting normal periods every month.

Early October (Oct. 10) I was on my period and the bf and I started having sex and I forgot I still had a tampon in. Once I realized we took it out and continued. A few weeks later, October 27, my iud was sticking out and I felt it in the shower and pulled it out. No pain, no spotting, no bleeding, nothing. I spoke with my doctor she referred me to a new gyno and I will try again with the kyleena soon.

However I’m so worried that the iud was dislodged for a while and that I could be pregnant. The doctor or gyno didn’t bring that issue up at all, so I’m not sure if it’s a valid concern? My bf did ejaculate that day on October 10th but we haven’t had sex again since that day. Does anyone have any similar stories or knowledge on how worried I should be?

More info: it’s November 1st rn and I’m expecting my period on November 9th.
