My experience : Cannot find a birth control

Hi! So i take carbamazepine and cymbalta. They aren’t safe to take if I get pregnant, but I have tried half a dozen different types of birth control, and they all give me migraines - like, cannot get out of bed for weeks, want to *ff myself migraines. I have chronic migraine anyway, so it’s the perfect storm with hormonal birth control. I asked about the copper IUD, but two diff gynos said no because I’ve never given birth and im “smaller” so my uterus would likely just push the copper IUD out and it would be very painful. Plus, i have ovarian cysts, so they didn’t recommend it. Im married and obviously using condoms is not fun, but I feel guilty simply tracking my cycle and using the pull out method.

Is this true about IUDS? Does it really matter if my body is smaller and ive never given birth? Are there any other types of nonhormonal birth control that I could try that arent expensive? I have Medicaid so phexxi was REALLY expensive. We don’t want to consider a vasectomy yet, as we are in our 20s and havent ruled out having kids.
