My experience : Am I at risk for getting blood clots if I use birth control?

Okay so I got a prescription today for birth control, with drosperinone and ethinylestradiol as the two combining hormones. When my doctor asked about blood clots in my family, I answered we don’t have any genetics for that. However, after I picked up my prescription I remembered my dad got a blood clot in his leg. He is 56 years old, and got one because he has been smoking and drinking his whole life and had been sitting still for a rather long time (lockdown). He did a test after his blood clot and it did not happen because of his genetics. However, I am still scared to take my birth control as I don’t want to get a blood clot, that scares the shit out of me lol. I am 18 years old, not overweight, healthy, have normal blood pressure and I don’t have any illnesses. Thank you if anyone has an answer on what I should do! :)
