I started using blisovi fe again. I was using this brand for about 3 years and I had depressive mood swings. I stopped taking it for about 6 months because I got out of a LTR and was no longer sexually active, so I didn’t see a reason to continue taking it. I also wanted to see if my mood would improve. I’ve been consistently happy, NO low moods. Previously, I was talking to my PCP about antidepressants being an option to help my moods, but we both agreed I’ve been doing so great so it’s unnecessary. Anyway, I got that brand of BC prescribed to me by a new obgyn recently because I’m sexually active again. It’s been two weeks and I’m starting to feel that “low mood”. There’s no environmental reason for me to feel this way as things have been great in my life. Is there a chance that other brands of the pill could lessen this side effect? I’m not open to any other methods of birth control like the shot, iud, etc.
