What is "Obstetrics " ?
Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.
My experience over Obstetrics "pubic bone sits low"
i got an iud today. i explained to the nurse practitioner that i had always had extreme pains and cramping from speculums so i was worried about those. they did a pelvic exam before starting the procedure and said my pubic bone sits really low which is why ive had those pains. what does that mean and is there anything i can do to fix it? is that like a pelvic floor issue or just anatomy?
