My experience : Bleeding when switching bc but I’m going on holiday…
So I was on the combined pill which was amazing physically (I had no cramps which I struggled with before and had pretty light periods), it did though make me extremely emotional when I ran through multiple packets at once instead of taking a break after 21 days. I’ve just switched to a mini pill and have been on it for 5 days - I’ve now bled heavily for the last 2 days with just as bad period cramps as I had before I was even on the pill. I’m going on holiday in a week and I’m not sure whether to just go back to my old pill until the holiday is over then figure out if I want to try the mini pill again or not when I get back (I don’t want to bleed on holiday - will I stop bleeding if I go back to my old pill?)
I know you’re supposed to give a new pill time - but I don’t want to have any bleeding or spotting on holiday as I will be in a bikini all week - advice pls (I’m 18 and was on my old pill for 6 months)
