My experience : How Long Do Side Effects Last With Norethindrone?
Hey all! I (24F) have been on norethindrone since I was about 18. It's helped so much with my period cramps & acne and overall I'm a fan. However, almost 7 years in & I still get irregular periods/spotting. My friend said side effects are only supposed to be for the first few months, but she's on an estrogen pill so I wondered if it's different? I am going to see my doctor next month to consider getting an IUD, but just wanted to know if anyone else taking the .35 mg norethindrone was still getting spotting/irregular periods after regularly taking the pill for a while. Thanks!
