My experience : I think I took emergency contraception too late

Hi guys Looking for some advice here, and internet searches are a little overwhelming.

I had unprotected sex on friday evening. I didn't realise I was ovulating.... I couldn't get to the pharmacy to get emergency contraception (ellaone) until the Monday (3 days after sex).

Is it true that if the egg has already been released, the contraception won't work? And considering my peak day of ovulation was the morning after we had sex, my chances of the egg already being released is pretty high right?

Could I be pregnant? And if so, could the ellaone affect the pregnancy?

It is currently 7 days since the unprotected sex. 5 days since taking ellaone.

No symptoms except alot of fatigue which is not too unusual. Mild cramps which is unusual
