My experience : Question about bc pills and throwing up

Hi there, I’m in an unfamiliar situation and i’m not sure what to do. While visiting my bf last week (and being sexually active, with condoms) I got sick and threw up less than 2 hours after I had taken my birth control. I immediately took the next pill and since then, I have been taking the pill at the same time as I usually do, but one day ahead. I have also not had sex since then as it was the last day of my visit and my bf and I are long distance. Today is Saturday and I have no more active pills in my pack, as I start the placebo week tomorrow (I take the first pill in the pack on Sundays). My question is, do I skip todays pill since I am not sexually active at the moment and it would be the last active pill before the placebo week, or do I take the first pill in my next pack tonight, which would cause me the same issue at the end of my next pack, if that makes any sense. I want to take the pill at the same time every day, but I also want to stay on track and take the pill that corresponds with the day written on the pack. I hope this makes sense and doesn’t sound like a stupid question, but I’ve never missed a pill in the 3 years I’ve been on bc. Additionally, despite the fact that I threw up but took another pill right away, I still had sex that night and we used condoms like always. Was I still protected? I am terrified of pregnancy and am having a lot of anxiety over this. Thank you in advance!
