My experience : Is this a bad idea?

Is it a bad idea to get off birth control for possibly a few weeks?

My pill needs a refill in a few weeks but is scheduled an appointment the day my placebo week ends (it was the only day available).

My pill im on now has made my skin worse and i rly wanna see if i can get on a pill that helps that or if i can get back on a pill that i first had.

Is this a bad idea or should i just go refill on the one im on now while i wait for that appointment.. please help!! Im mostly worried about the side effects/irregular spotting i might experience

Edit: im not planning on having sex for a while
