My experience : Copper IUD vs pill
I plan on getting the copper IUDbut want to know the pain level of insertion. Before i started on bc i experienced painful cramps for the first 2 days and had to miss school/work and did have regular periods. Compared to my sister who only had slight cramps and always questioned why i only experienced bad cramps. So if i can handle my own cramps for yrs, then you think i can handle the insertion? Also im 34yrs old and been on variety of bc since 2017. Everything made me moody, anxiety, weight gain and depressed. And argued alot with my partner. I been off of BC pills for about a week and already feel back to normal but worry about pregnancy. Also I’m childfree, so if i had the money i would’ve chosen sterilization but can’t since my insurance won’t cover it. Now im in 30s and have family history of heart issues and blood clots. So hopefully the copper iud helps. Any pros and cons of getting the copper IUD?
