My experience : Hey I’m a guy with really bad pregnancy anxiety

I’m fairly young (18) and my mom is super strict about sex (don’t have it until marriage ) well that didn’t work, sorry mom. Anyways I am a very anxious person and my girlfriend knows this. Because of it we are extremely careful, we use the female birth controll pill, a condom every time, pull out method, all at once. She is looking into an iud too. Because she has bad periods she skips her false pills and get a period about 3 times a year. This makes my anxiety worse as there is no monthly no pregnancy reminder. Instead we take pregnancy tests monthly to ensure we aren’t pregnant. The last test was negative, then we checked it after a half hour still negative, then after about 4 hours a very faint line appeared. This happens often but it scared the crap out of me, I know it’s an evaporation line but still, is there any odds it wasn’t ? She doesn’t like tests so we only do it once a month ish. We are pro choice ( I don’t want this to be political, so please don’t bring this up in comments ) so if we do get pregnant we would like to know as soon as possible in hopes of taking the pill rather than surgical. Am I being safe enough, anything I can to do be more safe, any advice or ways to ease my anxiety ? (Don’t say “don’t have sex “ that isn’t what this post is for, I acknowledge the risk and we are doing everything we can to minimize it, I accept the risk )
