My experience : Yaz making acne worse
Hi! I went to the doctor because I'd get these horrible breakouts in the same spot above my lip right before my period. Besides that, I had mild acne (a few breakout around my period but nothing I could not manage). I was prescribed Yaz, and while it got rid of the upper lip breakouts, it has given me painful cystic acne only along my cheeks. I have about 7 active breakouts right now, horrible redness, and lots of whiteheads. I've been on it for 3 months and a week and I'm starting to lose hope. Most people say 3 months is when their acne gets better but mine does not seem to go away. I'm worried and incredibly insecure about my skin right now. Has anyone had a similar experience or can offer any tips?
