My experience : Full period on 3rd week of active pills after skipping period. Should I just stop taking them?

Hello! I’ve been on my current brand of the pill since January 2022 and I successfully skipped my period in June. I tried to skip it again in July, but I began spotting during my first week of active pills in the new pack (which I started in the last week of July) and have not stopped. I’m on my first day of my 3rd week of active pills now and the bleeding/cramping has increased to pretty much a full period. I guess my body didn’t like skipping 2 periods in a row! My questions are:

  1. Should I just stop taking my active pills and let my period happen? I have 6 more days until I was “supposed” to get my period.

  2. Is this any cause for concern? I’m figuring my body just doesn’t respond well to skipping periods but spotting for the entirety of my active pills this month (over 2 weeks) and then getting a full period prematurely is a bit strange to me, especially given I’ve been on BC for a while now.

Thanks in advance for anyone who can help
